    About Pulp

Pulp are an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 1978. Fronted by the iconic Jarvis Cocker, the band became one of the defining acts of the Britpop movement with their witty, kitchen-sink lyrics and theatrical live performances.

After years of underground cult status, Pulp broke into the mainstream with His 'n' Hers (1994), before releasing their landmark album Different Class (1995), which debuted at number one and included the timeless anthem Common People. The album won the 1996 Mercury Music Prize and cemented their place as Britpop royalty.

Other key releases include This Is Hardcore (1998) and We Love Life (2001). After disbanding in 2002, the group reunited for a celebrated comeback tour in 2011–2013, and again in 2022 for a run of highly anticipated live dates.
