Muse have announced a major UK and European arena tour for later this year, giving fans their first chance to hear material from the band’s upcoming album, The Wow! Signal, in some of the continent’s biggest venues.
The run begins with two nights at Manchester’s Co-op Live on 12 and 13 November, before the band head to London for back-to-back shows at The O2 on 15 and 16 November. From there, Muse will take the tour across Europe, with dates in Berlin, Milan, Düsseldorf, Paris, Amsterdam, Montpellier and Zurich.
The announcement arrives ahead of the release of The Wow! Signal, which is set to land on 26 June and marks the band’s first full-length studio album in four years. Subtle little comeback, then. Just a new album and a giant arena tour, as you do.
Before the UK and European dates, Muse will spend the summer touring North America, with support from Bloc Party, Portugal. The Man and The Temper Trap. Support acts for the UK and European shows are still to be announced.
Pre-sale tickets go live on 17 June at 10am local time, with general sale beginning on 19 June at 10am local time.
For fans of Muse’s huge, theatrical live shows, this already feels like one of the biggest rock tours of the year.
