Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes has launched a brand-new live production company called Patient Zero, focused on creating large-scale immersive concert experiences.
The venture has already made its debut through the stunning visuals used during ILLENIUM’s show at the Las Vegas Sphere, where Bring Me The Horizon joined the DJ on stage for their collaboration Slave To The Rhythm. The performance showcased massive cinematic visuals designed specifically for the Sphere’s wraparound screen.
Patient Zero has been built alongside longtime BMTH collaborators, including director Nick Keays and the band’s art director Jacob Harry Carter, effectively expanding the creative team behind the band’s iconic stage productions.
While details on future projects are still under wraps, the company is expected to develop immersive live shows for a range of artists and venues.
Considering Bring Me The Horizon have spent years pushing the boundaries of live visuals, storytelling and technology, Patient Zero looks like the natural next step in taking concerts into a fully cinematic world.
